The Book of Proverbs is like the Bumper of the Bible.  It’s where all the short sayings go that would have been printed on the asses of the camels of the Ancient World… if only they’d had glue that would stick to fur.

Here I print my own proverbs. They come from many places — Books I Read, Google, Target T-Shirts, the car I followed across the bridge this morning…  They are quotes I find amusing.  Words that caused me to chuckle at myself and at my world.  They may or may not have a method to their madness. They may not even reflect opinions I believe in.  They are just a collection of… proverbs.

“Perhaps there is wisdom here.  Perhaps there is foolishness. I suspect that there is both.”

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.

Life’s a journey. Sometimes it has cliffs, winding roads, prickle bushes… and the occasional nice view.

but it ain’t necessarily peace…

and it ain’t necessarily blessing.
