People really hate conflict. People hate conflict so much, they are willing to lie to themselves and even lie to others in order to avoid conflict.
This is bad.
Once people begin to lie to themselves and one another they cheat themselves and others from Truth. They undermine Justice. They destroy Trust. But what is far worse is that their Love begins to die, and when we cannot Trust in Love there can be no Peace.
IOW –
When people hide from the Truth in order to avoid conflict,
they actually undermine their Hope for Peace.
Ironic, isn’t it?
Fortunately, I believe in God. I believe that God is Justice.
I believe that God is Truth. I believe that God is Love.
And, I believe that in God, there is Peace.
I believe that God is Truth. I believe that God is Love.
And, I believe that in God, there is Peace.
Peace Out,

“When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’
He replied, ‘I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.’”
Genesis 3:8-10 (NLT)
Isn’t it nice that one of the Bible’s first lessons is what humanity’s relationship with Truth is? Don’t you wish more people would blow this bell curve?
The world would be a happier place if we’d all just collect pokemon.

Dood, you just went from the J creation text to pokemon. I’m getting a bad case of conceptual whiplash…

Roll with it, honey…
We must be honest with God and honest with others. And, we must not fear conflict, but should be willing to exhibit our fears and concerns, our anger and frustrations.
While some might use God like a Team Rocket Pokeball, attacking others without for their own sake… it is better to see the Pokemon for who they are: little manifestions of our own neurosis, encapsuled experiences and personality traits. Truly, you can get to know a person by the pokemon they keep and the stats of their Meyers-Briggs team.
Therefore, we SHOULD be like the poke-trainer: confronting one another in love in order to get to know one another better, we show one another our inner selves, hash out the good the bad and the ugly, and part as friends who understand one another better.
Wow… it almost works, doesn’t it?
